Outdoors NSW 2017 Conference “Active Recreation”

The Outdoors NSW Conference is a major annual event that engages teachers, educators, adventurers, and learners  within the Outdoor Activity sector.

We are very pleased to announce that our 2017 conference will be held on:

Saturday September 16 – Sunday September 17 with a Pre Conference Day on Friday September 15 at the Hawkesbury Campus, Western Sydney University.

The theme for 2017 is: “Active Recreation” Express Yourself, Discover new Perspectives, Accept Opportunities and Participate in Life’s Adventures!

The Active Recreation theme draws on two key areas of our delivery focus: Participation and Professional Development.

Outdoors NSW exists to engage the 4 outdoors pillars of  Outdoor Recreation, Education, Nature/Adventure Tourism and Therapy – for the benefit of the individual, community, society and planet. We embrace a diversity of presenters at the conference.

Outdoors NSW seeks to benefit the outdoor community  by providing networking and learning opportunities.

Topics for workshops may include how to engage people in relaxation, health, wellbeing, enjoyment, opportunities,  new perspectives, management, education, programs, research and fun active outdoors activities.
